Hatha Yoga

Hatha translates from Sanskrit as ha meaning “sun” and tha meaning “moon.” This refers to the balance of masculine aspects (active, hot, sun) and feminine aspects (receptive, cool, moon) within all of us. Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites and to enhance vital energy.

My Hatha Yoga class involves a set of physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama), practised slowly and holding postures during a few deep breaths.

Restorative/Yin Yoga

Restorative/Yin Yoga is a gentle, supportive and therapeutic type of yoga, based on passive healing. It “restores” the body activating its parasympathetic nervous system, which helps keep basic body functions working. Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa is a yoga flow that links movement (asanas) and breath (pranayama) to attain balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Inhalation is usually connected to upward, open movements, while exhalation is often tied to downward movements or twists.

My Vinyasa Yoga class consist on a gently active flow of yoga poses (asanas) coordinated with breath (pranayama) to attain a lovely flowing sequence from one pose to the next.

Guided Meditation & Chakra Healing

After every Yoga class I do a short period of relaxation in Shavasana (10/15mins) before we finish the session.
This relaxation can be extended to 30 mins in a form of guided meditation and chakra healing, if requested by my students.

Considering the worlds’ health situation at the moment, I provide Personalized Yoga Classes, where you will improve your health and wellbeing, and you will learn how to relax in the comfort of your home, at my yoga space or online/virtual connection.

As a yoga teacher my mission is to guide you in this journey of self-discovery and my Yoga Sessions will be designed according to your health, flexibility, age, medical history and expectations.

Group classes are minimised to maximum two students, pre-booking is essential to guarantee a safe class by organising a schedule, sanitise your hands before and after the yoga session, bring your own yoga mat or your own towel to place on my yoga mats, maintain min. 1.5m distance with the teacher and/or other students, do not attend a class if you feel unwell and please let me know in advance if you need to cancel.
